Vana Tallinn was created in 1960, when Estonian liqueur master Ilse Maar and her team developed a unique recipe. After extensive experimentation, they succeeded in combining high-quality Jamaican rum with refined spices and exotic citrus fruits – a groundbreaking combination for that time.
Vana Tallinn is a characterful blend of Jamaican rum, orange, lemon, and carefully selected spices, including vanilla and cinnamon. The result is a velvety-smooth taste of vanilla, caramel, toffee, and warm spices – with an exciting bitter accent of cinnamon bark. This artisanal production process takes about one month.
